Namanya mulai dikenal berkat perannya di serial  [[Zee TV]]  ''Banoo Main Teri Dulhann''  dimana dia memenangkan penghargaan pertamanya sebagai Aktris Terbaik di Indian Television Academy Award. Kemudian, berkat perannya yang memukai sebagai dr. Tripathi mulai karier sebagai seorang pembawa acara di [[All India Radio|Akash Vani]], Bhopal. Dia berpartisipasi dalam ajang ''Pantene Zee Teen Queen'' pada tahun 2003 dan memenangkan gelar Miss Beautiful Skin.
