'''HR Carinae''' adalah bintang [[variabel biru bercahaya]] yang terletak di konstelasi [[Carina]]. Bintang ini dikelilingi oleh nebula awan besar yang terbentuk dari reaksi bahan nuklir yang dikeluarkan karena bintang ini memiliki banyak cangkang atmosfer yang mengembang. Bintang ini adalah salah satu bintang paling bercahaya di [[Bima Sakti]]. Ia memiliki sayap emisi yang sangat luas di [[garis Balmer]], yang membuatnya memiliki garis luas yang diamati dalam spektrum [[bintang O]] dan [[Wolf-Rayet|Wolf–Rayet]].
