Sebuah rangkaian terdiri dari tujuh kereta [[Seri E3]] dengan nama layanan ''[[Tsubasa (train)|Tsubasa]]''. Antara  [[Stasiun Tokyo]] dan [[Stasiun Fukushima (Fukushima)|Fukushima]], kereta disambungkan dengan ''[[Yamabiko]]'', layanan kereta di jalur [[Tohoku Shinkansen]].
