Desa ini terkenal karena terdapat tanda jalan dengan namanya, dan banyak turis sering berfoto di sebelahnya. Pada tahun [[2004]], sebuah pemilihan dibuat untuk mengganti nama desa ini karena seringnya terjadi pencurian tersebut. Para penduduk menolak usulan ini.<ref name="the-register"/> Walaupun begitu, pada pertemuan tanggal 11 November 2020, Dewan Munisipalitas Tarsdorf memutuskan untuk mengganti nama desa ini menjadi "Fugging" dari 1 Januari 2021.
