Mengenai "Roman" dalam bahasa Inggris, "Roman Catholic Church" lazim diterjemahkan menjadi "Gereja Katolik Roma" dan kenyataannya Gereja Katolik "Roma" (atau mungkin tepatnya [[Gereja Latin]]) memang bermula dari kota [[Roma]]. Namun demikian, saya serahkan kembali isu seputar penamaan ini kepada Anda sebagai pengurus dan komunitas. :Sedikit tambahan, menurut KBBI, [https://kbbi.web.id/Romawi Romawi] berarti: "berkaitan dengan kebudayaan, politik, bahasa, dan sebagainya dari ''kota Roma Kuno''". Dengan demikian, berdasarkan definisi dalam KBBI tersebut, penggunaan kata "Romawi" menyiratkan keterkaitan sebatas pada "kota Roma Kuno".
