Grup band ini merupakan salah satu dari generasi terakhir grup [[hair metal]] yang sempat sukses dan mencetak hits sebelum digeser oleh aliran [[grunge]] pada awal tahun 1990.<ref name="luveronation" /> Pada awal masa pembentukan, mereka sering mengadakan konser di klab-klab lokal di bagian [[Timur]], [[Amerika Serikat|Amerika]].
