== Kehidupan awal dan karier ==
Remment Koolhaas, yang biasanya disingkat menjadi Rem Koolhaas, lahir pada 17 November 1944 di [[Rotterdam]], [[Belanda]] dari pasangan [[Anton Koolhaas]] (1912–1992) dan Selinde Pietertje Roosenburg (kelahiran 1920).
