== Kehidupan awal ==

== Karier ==
Ellya memulai debutnya dalam film [[Bulan Purnama (film)|Bulan Purnama]] di tahun 1953. Ia juga sempat menjadi produser untuk film [[Momon (film 1959)|Momon]] pada tahun 1953.
Dan selanjutnya main dalam film-film [[Gara-Gara Djanda Muda]] (1954), [[Rindu Damai]] (1955), [[Peristiwa Surabaja Gubeng]] (1956), [[Apa Jang Kunanti]] (1957). Pada tahun 1957 mendirikan Ellya Film yang sempat menelorkan 3 buah produksi, [[Konsepsi Ajah]] (1957), [[Sedetik Lagi]] (1957) dan [[Momon (film 1959)|Momon]] (1959).
