== Biografi ==
Dalam cerita, The Doctor adalah Time Lord yang menjelajah [[Ruang waktu|ruang dan waktu]] dalam TARDIS, [[Perjalanan waktu|mesin waktu]] yang dicuri olehnya. TARDIS merupakan singkatan Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space, yang memiliki ruang lebih besar daripada kelihatan dari luar. Umumnya TARDIS muncul sebagai 'police box' tahun 1963. Umumnya Doctor ditemani oleh pendamping selama perjalanan. == Fisiologi ==
Meskipun Doctor menyerupai manusia, fisiologi mereka berbeda. Seperti Time Lord pada umumnya, Doctor memiliki dua jantung, sistem pernapasan yang membuatnya mampu bertahan tanpa udara, suhu tubuh 15-16 °C., serta menunjukkan stamina tinggi dan kemampuan untuk menyerap, mempertahankan dan mengeluarkan radiasi dalam jumlah besar.
