Lee Min-ho lahir di [[Gimpo]], Provinsi Gyeonggi, Korea Selatan. Ia adalah anak semata wayang. Ia mulai menari sejak duduk di bangku sekolah menengah pertama setelah melihat sebuah video tari secara daring.
