'''Budi Eka Putra''' was born in [https://wiki-indonesia.club/wiki/Kabupaten_Rokan_Hulu Rokan Hulu], RIAU ( Sumatera), Indonesia at July 21st 1975. He had been learned about the art. He was been learned about the art education from m [[SMSR]] Padang, West Sumatra from 1997 to 2005 and at ISI ([https://wiki-indonesia.club/wiki/Institut_Seni_Indonesia_Yogyakarta Indonesian Institute of the Arts]) Fine Arts Department, Yogyakarta. He is part of the Sakato Group, Indonesia’s up and coming artistic collective from the region of Sumatra, which is expected to become the next Jendela Group.

 

 

In his later works, he started to incorporate measuring tapes in his creations. To create a realistic depiction that went beyond the canvas, he began to include elements such as fiber class and masking tape to recreate his illusion. Typography is a recurrent object in his work, number and fonts where he experiments with lettering, size and composition with respect to the rest of the
