Menurut gosip [[Alternative Press]] pada Oktober 2009 , Williams dan gitaris [[Paramore]] Josh Farro mengkonfirmasikan bahwa mereka telah berpacaran selama tiga tahun sebelum berpisah pada musim gugur tahun 2007. "Kami tidak tahu apakah itu akan terlihat buruk", kata Williams. "Kami masih sangat muda, dan sepertinya akan terlihat seperti sebuah lelucon besar", Josh menambahkan. "Kami tidak ingin band menjadi tentang aku dan Hayley yang sedang dalam sebuah hubungan bersama karena kemudian band akan menjadi tentang hubungan kami, bukan musik kami. Ia pernah mengatakan jika ada kesempatan Williams sering diam-diam memakan keju padahal biasanya keju dilarang untuk penyanyi karena dapat merusak pita suara. Paramore dibentuk di [[Franklin, Tennessee]] pada tahun 2004, bersama Hayley Williams ([[lead vocals]]/[[keyboards]]) di samping [[Josh Farro]] ([[lead guitar]]/[[backing vocals]]), [[Jeremy Davis]] ([[bass guitar]]) dan [[Zac Farro]] ([[drums]]). Kata Paramore diambil dari nama tengah ibu teman lama mereka. Dalam Bahasa perancisPrancis Paramore berarti Secret Lover. Pada tanggal 7 Juni 2011, Paramore merilis sebuah single berjudul [[Monster (lagu Paramore)|Monster]] dalam format '[[digital download]]'. Single tersebut merupakan soundtrack untuk film [[Transformers: Dark of the Moon|Transformers: Dark of The Moon]].
