Lexington Avenue Line trains used the [[South Ferry loops (IRT Broadway –  Seventh Avenue Line)|outer platform]] from 10 Juli 1905 to July 1, 1918 and from 1950 to February 12, 1977. The outer platform closed on March 16, 2009; which allows Lexington Avenue Line trains to again use both loop tracks.
