== Nasib ==
Setelah diperbaiki usai perang berakhir, statusnya berubah menjadi kapal transfer spesial pada 2 Oktober 1945. Ia bekerja untuk misi repatriasi memulangkan tentara dan warga sipil Jepang kembali ke tanah kelahirannya. Misi itu ia lakukan mulai Desember 1945 sampai pada April 1946 dan telah mengangkut lebih dari 5000 tentara yang ada di [[Minamidaitojima]], [[Rabaul]], bahkan sampai [[Australia]].<ref name=t1/> Dia mulai dibongkar di [[Osaka]], [[Jepang]] pada [[22 Desember]] [[1946]] dan butuh waktu setahun untuk menyelesaikannya.<ref>Lengerer 2010b, hal. 121</ref>
