Para anggota KNK berasal dari berbagai ''entertainment'' sebelum memasuki YNB Entertainment. Mereka melalui masa pelatihan yang lama dengan rata-rata 5 tahun. Saat menjalani masa ''trainee,'' mereka kerap menjadi penari latar BESTie, grup se-agensi mereka.
 
Pada tanggal 15 Desember, 2015, sebuah video teaser diunggah di akun [[YouTube|Youtube]] resmi KNK. Keesokan harinya, KNK dikonfirmasi untuk tampil di ''2015 SBS Awards Festival (SAF)'' bersama dengan Noel, Bestie, dan Almeng. Pada tanggal 26 Desember, KNK tampil untuk pertama kalinya di SAF dimana mereka menyanyikan kedua lagu dalam album perdana mereka. Pada tanggal 30 Desember, [[acara realitas]] KNK bertajuk ''My Keunakeun Television'' ditayangkan di Naver TV Cast.
