Pesawat peringatan dini: Perbedaan antara revisi

Beberapa negara mempunyai sistem pesawat peringatan dininya masing-masing. [[E-3 Sentry]] dan [[E-2 Hawkeye|Grumman E-2C Hawkeye]] adalah pesawat terbang peringatan dini yang populer. Sentry dibuat oleh [[Boeing]] Defense and Space Group (sekarang [[Boeing Integrated Defense Systems|Integrated Defense Systems]]) dan secara internasional dianggap sebagai standar pesawat peringatan dini. E-3 Sentry dibuat berbasiskan Boeing 707. E-2 Hawkeye yang memasuki dinas pada [[1965]] merupakan pesawat peringatan dini yang paling banyak digunakan. Helikopter lainnya adalah [[Ka-31]] Helix-B buatan [[Rusia]] yang digunakan antara lain oleh Angkatan Laut India pada Frigat Krivak-III. Helikopter ini menggunakan peralatan radar E-801M Oko (Eye) yang dapat melacak sampai dengan 20 target di udara dalam waktu bersamaan dari jarak 150 &nbsp;km serta kapal permukaan dari jarak 250 &nbsp;km. [[Angkatan Udara India]] memesan tiga buah [[IAI Phalcon]] pada 2004 yang akan dikirim pada 2007. India juga mengembangkan sistem pesawat peringatan dininya sendiri yang akan digunakan pada 2010.
