:@[[Pengguna:Dedhert.Jr|Dedhert.Jr]] Plot Gold, Silver, Crystal sama persis. Bedanya juga tipis yaitu di Crystal pemain bisa milih karakter cewek.
:Kalau di generasi sebelumnya ada Red, Blue, Yellow dengan yang Yellow pemain hanya dikasih Pikachu. Atau Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald dengan yang Emerald ada perbaikan sedikit di model pertarungannya.
:Baru yang berbeda mencolok di Diamond, Pearl, Platinum. Yang Platinum meski plot sama dengan Diamond/Pearl tapi kondisi arenanya bersalju dan ada penambahan karakter yang mencolok
