Lahir di Taipei, Taiwan sebagai putra dari [[Agum Gumelar]]. Selepas lulus dari [[SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta]] melanjutkan studi ke ''The Art Institute of Seattle
Lebih dulu dikenal sebagai pemusik, antara lain lewat LAIN, grup yang dibentuk di Seattle, kemudian Zeke and The Popo, dan sekarang bersolo karier dengan format yang sangat dinamis. Dari tangannya lahir album Djakarta Goodbye (LAIN, 2003), Secangkir Kopi Hitam (Zeke and the Popo, 2005), Spaces in the Headlines (Zeke And The Popo, 2006), Salacca Zalacca (2010), Fell in Love With The Wrong Planet (2012).
