Untuk itu saya membuat alternatif kalimat menjadi "Para peneliti dan media populer menggunakan pertengahan hingga akhir tahun 1990-an sebagai tahun awal kelahiran dan awal tahun 2010-an sebagai tahun akhir kelahiran Gen Z. Misal dalam hal ketersediaan Internet disejumlah benua, negara ataupun daerah. Hal inilah salah satu yang menjadi titik acuan paling penting dalam pengklasifikasian setiap generasi, karena pengaruhnya terhadap pola hidup, mindset, pengalaman, psikologi dan lain-lain pada masing-masing generasi. Terkhusus di Indonesia saja layanan Internet untuk masyarakat umum berawal pada tahun 1996, kemudian terbentuknya Badan Pengelola Internet Indonesia pada tahun 1997, maka di tahun inilah internet mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan. Untuk itu inilah yang menjadi salah satu sebab cocoknya awal tahun untuk generasi Z indonesia, apalagi di tahun 1998 zaman reformasi dalam hal politik pun berubah total.
