Pada Tahun yang sama ia dinobatkan sebagai juara 125 Nasional Spanyol, dan musim penuh pertamanya pada tahun 2007 berhasil meraih satu podium dan menobatkannya sebagai Rookie of the Year 125cc. Musim 2008 Pol tampil lebih mengesankan tapitetapi juga ditandai dengan cedera tulang selangka, dan ia memperoleh kemenangan pertama pada tahun 2009 di Indianapolis dan berada di posisi keempat klasemen akhir.
