== Latar belakang ==
Johny Indo awalnya dikenal sebagai perampok toko emas di Jakarta dan sekitarnya pada era tahun 1970an yang dilakukan pada siang hari bersama kelompoknya Pachinko (Pasukan China Kota).<ref name="Mantan Perampok">[https://web.archive.org/web/20120320230711/http://www.info-baru.com/2008/03/mantan-perampok-johny-indo-tampil-di.html Mantan Perampok Johny Indo Tampil di Acara K!ck Andy], diakses pada 3 Juni 2010</ref> Aksi paling terkenal Johnny Indo adalah merampok toko emas di Cikini, Jakarta Pusat, pada 1979.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20220316180956/http://dekade80.blogspot.com/2009/02/johnny-indo-petualangan-perampok.html Johnny Indo, Petualangan Perampok Budiman], diakses pada 3 Juni 2010</ref>
 
Johny Indo berhasil dengan ditangkap di [[Sukabumi]] setelah kelompok Pachinko lebih dulu ditangkap.<ref name="Mantan Perampok"></ref> Johny Indo kemudian dijatuhi hukuman penjara 14 tahun dan dijebloskan ke [[PenjaraNusakambangan|penjara Nusa KambanganNusakambangan]]. Setelah bebas murni, iapemilik nama lengkap H.
