Pada tanggal 18 Juli 1994, O'Riordan menikahi Don Burton, mantan manajer tur [[Duran Duran]]. Keduanya dikaruniai tiga anak. Tahun 1998, mereka membeli peternakan seluas {{convert|61|ha|acre|abbr=off|adj=mid}} bernama Riversfield Stud di [[Kilmallock]], [[County Limerick]], lalu dijual pada tahun 2004.
