Hokkien community oversensitivites (note- itself a linguistic and cultural minority within the Mandarin Han/Wu dominated mainland to the point of comparatively NEGLIGIBLE population numbers) is thus not only arbitrary, totally one-sided and trite- it borders on the comical because of its total irrationality and non-logic.For example, if I as a white were to follow this absurd Hokkein illogic, as a bule I should get offended at Indonesians calling me an "orang" just as it matches half the English word "orang-utang"- as I stupidly think they're all saying I'm an ape? Grow up please children- it's like giggling over Winnie the Pooh or Mr Wang's surname.
