Menurut bahasa Indonesia Ellenika atau helenik diterjemahkan sebagai Yunani seperti halnya Grecee dalam bahasa Inggris yg artinya Yunani juga dalam bahasa Indonesia. Seperti contohnya Negara Germany dalam bahasa Inggris dan Deutschland dalam bahasa Jerman dan Negara Jerman dalam bahasa Indonesia.
