Vikernes never intended "Aske" to be released on DSP. He viewed Aarseth as somewhat incompetent since Aarseth had already made a mistake on Burzum's self-titled debut: on the DSP release, the second song appears as "Ea, Lord of the Deeps" instead of correct "Ea, Lord of the Depths".
