Thay terus aktif berkarya dalam pergerakan perdamaian, memberi sponsor retret untuk peserta dari [[Israel]] dan [[Palestina]], mendukung kedua pihak untuk mendengar secara mendalam dan saling belajar dari sesamanya. Ia berulang kali memberi pidato untuk mendesak negara-negara yang terlibat dalam pertikaian untuk berhenti berperang dan jadikan non-kekerasan sebagai solusi bagi berbagai sengketa.
