Gloster Meteor: Perbedaan antara revisi

'''[[Gloster Aircraft Company|Gloster]] Meteor''' merupakan sebuah [[pesawat tempur]] bertenaga jet yang digunakan oleh Inggris dan [[Sekutu]] saat perang Dunia II. Pesawat ini dirancang oleh [[George Carter]], dan terbang perdana pada tahun 1943 dan mulai beroperasi pada 27 Juli 1944 bersama Skuadron 616 Angkatan Udara. Meskipun Gloster Meteor bukan merupakan sebuah pesawat aerodinamis yang maju tetapi tim desain Gloster berhasil dalam mengeluarkan sebuah jet tempur yang efisien dan melayani Angkatan Udara Inggris dan banyak pasukan udara negara lain selama beberapa dekade. Meteor digunakan oleh [[Angkatan Udara Australia]] dalam [[Perang Korea]] dan tetap digunakan sampai tahun 1970-an. Dua buah pesawat Meteor, WL419 dan WA638, masih lagi digunakan oleh perusahaan Martin-Baker sebagai ''rig tes'' [[kursi lontar]].
