'''Dewan Perdamaian Dunia''' adalah sebuah organisasi internasional yang mendorong [[pelucutan senjata]] universal. [[kedaulatan]] dan kemerdekaan dan [[pendirian perdamaian]], dan kampanye melawan [[imperialisme]], [[senjata penghancuran massal]] dan segala bentuk [[diskriminasi]]. Organisasi tersebut didirikan pada 1950, bermula dari kebijakan [[Partai Komunis Uni Soviet]] untuk mempromosikan kampanye-kampanye perdamaian di seluruh dunia dalam rangka melawan "pemanas-manasan" dari [[Amerika Serikat]]. Presiden pertamanya adalah fisikawan Komunis [[Frédéric Joliot-Curie]]. Organisasi tersebut berbasis di [[Helsinki]] dari 1968 sampai 1999 dan sejak itu berada di [[Athena]].
