Some years ago, I was blocked indefinitely (under another name) on the English Wikipedia on the basis of accusations by some users interested (I imagine) in advancing "gay rights". I observed the block for a year and then used my right of appeal, promising not to edit the topic that provoked my banning. My appeal was rejected and I was told I would have to wait another year to appeal again. I replied that, given that I was given no hope that a further appeal could possibly be more successful, I was not undertaking to be silent for what could be the rest of my life. I adopted for all languages the name Theodoxa. A guardian of the English Wikipedia found it was still me and blocked me. I then used other names for English only, each of which was successively identified, in less than a year, as mine. Later, I began to use almost every month a new name based on the name of a month. At a certain point, these names were identified as mine and all were blocked ''except one'', the first of the month names that I had adopted. I don't know whether that omission was by mistake or whether it was a tacit recognition that my actual concrete behaviour in editing the English Wikipedia no longer justified maintaining a ban on me. That, I think, is a sufficiently complete narration of the events. It is up to you to do whatever you think right with this information.
