Seperti di negara [[Asia Tengah]] lainnya, [[teh hijau]] adalah minuman pokok yang dikonsumsi pada setiap waktu. Dalam [[bahasa Turkmen]], "[[Masala chai|chai]]" dapat berarti teh atau acara penyajian teh itu sendiri.
Gatyk adalah minuman [[Yoghurt|yogurt]] kental yang mirip dengan [[kefir]], sering disajikan bersama [[sarapan]] dan kadang-kadang digunakan sebagai bumbu pada ''börek'' atau manti, menggantikan [[krim asam]] tradisional.
