''Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen'' adalah sebuah cerita prekuel yang berfokus pada Guren Ichinose sebagai tokoh utama, menjelaskan rangkaian kejadian yang terjadi 9 tahun sebelum cerita pada manga. Novel ringan ini ditulis oleh [[Takaya Kagami]] dengan ilustrasi oleh [[Yamato Yamamoto]], terdiri dari 5 volume dan telah diserialisasi oleh [[Kodansha]] sejak Januari 2013.
