== Sejarah ==
Perusahaan ini didirikan dengan nama Impregilo pada tahun 1959. Pada tahun 2011, Salini mulai membeli saham Impregilo sedikit demi sedikit, hingga mencapai 25% pada tahun 2012. Upaya Salini mengakuisisi Impregilo pun awalnya mendapat penolakan dari sekelompok investor, namun Salini berhasil meyakinkan mayoritas investor pada Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham yang digelar pada bulan Juli 2012 untuk mengganti dewan direksi Impregilo dengan calon yang mereka ajukan. Setelah resmi menjabat, dewan direksi baru inipun menerima tawaran Salini untuk membeli seluruh saham Impregilo yang belum dimilikinya. Pietro Salini pun menjadi CEO perusahaan ini. Pada tahun 2013, Salini menerbitkan tawaran untuk dapat membeli sisa saham Impregilo yang belum dimilikinya.
