Optimisasi multiobjektif semakin sering digunakan dalam [[teknik kimia]] dan [[manufaktur]]. Pada tahun 2009, Fiandaca dan Fraga menggunakan algoritma genetik multiobjektif (''multi-objective genetic algorithm'', MOGA) untuk mengoptimisasi proses [[adsorpsi ayunan tekanan]].
