Just like Mizuki and Indou, Hoshina is also one of the "Top ten," and will play for a professional team as he graduates. Although a great dribbler, Hoshina generally sticks to solid defense and is depicted as risk-averse and a safe player, and in charge of coordinating his whole team. Seiseki plays Touin Academy in the finals of the Tokyo qualifiers to the Winter inter high school tournament.
