Alat kontrasepsi tembaga dalam rahim merupakan alat kontrasepsi yang memiliki tembaga yang dapat memberikan efek jangka panjang dalam mengkontrol kehamilan. Alat kontrasepsi ini tergolong sebagai non-hormonal kontrasepsi. Alat ini berbentuk (T) yang di masukan langsung ke uterus. Tembaga yang melilit alat kontrasepsi memberikan efek meradang yang beracun untuk sperma dan telur akhirnya akan mencegah kehamilan.
