Förster berencana untuk membuat pemukiman "murni" bangsa [[Arya]] di [[Dunia Baru]] dan telah menemukan sebuah situs di Paraguay yang dia pikir akan cocok. Koloni tersebut tidak berkembang. Tanah tempat mereka tinggal tidak cocok untuk metode pertanian Jerman, penyakit merajalela, dan transportasi keluar-masuk ke koloni lambat serta sulit. Akibat dihadapkan banyak hutang, Förster [[bunuh diri]] dengan meracuni dirinya pada tanggal 3 Juni 1889. Empat tahun kemudian jandanya meninggalkan koloni selamanya dan kembali ke Jerman. Koloni ini masih ada sebagai bagian dari San Pedro.
