'''Boni Hargens''' (born 22 Pebruary 1981 in Flores) is a young political scientist from [[University of Indonesia]] and well-known as political observer in the country.
He studied in [[Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Driyarkara Jakarta]] and [[University of Indonesia]]. His career was started as an activist during he was a student at the university. Since 2003, while studying, he wrote political analysis for national press in Indonesia. Since 2005, he became a social science researcher and lecturer. Since that time, he has been known as a young political observer. In 2006, he wrote a controversial book titled "[[10 dosa politik Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono]]" and belonged to many democratic movements in Indonesia. Now he is furthering his study in Berlin, Germany for his postgraduate degree.
