Zosterops merupakan genus penciri burung kacamata, dan memiliki anggota terbesar. Berdasarkan kajian filogeni, beberapa anggotanya akan dipindahkan ke familia lain.[1] Daerah persebarannya adalah di wilayah tropika Afrika, Asia (Indomalaya), dan Australia bagian utara. Ukuran maksimum adalah 15cm panjang. Ciri yang paling jelas adalah adanya garis putih mengelilingi mata, meskipun ada beberapa jenis yang tidak memilikinya.
