William Eaton
William Eaton (23 Februari 1764[1] – 1 Juni 1811[2]) adalah seorang perwira Angkatan Darat Amerika Serikat dan diplomatik Konsul Jenderal untuk Tunis (1797–1803). Ia memainkan peran diplomatik dan militer yang penting dalam Perang Barbaria Pertama antara Amerika Serikat dan Tripoli (1801-1805). Ia memimpin kemenangan militer asing pertama Amerika Serikat pada Pertempuran Derne dengan merebut kota subyek Tripoli Derne, Libya untuk mendukung pemulihan pasha (monarki lokal), Hamet Caramelli.[3]
