Daftar Kanselir Austria

Kanselir Austria (dalam bahasa Jerman: Bundeskanzler) adalah kepala pemerintahan di Austria. Deputi kanselir adalah Wakil Kanselir. Sebelum tahun 1918, seorang kanselir ekuivalen dengan pejabat Presiden Kementrian Austria (Minister-President of Austria).

Penunjukan

Kanselir dapat menunjuk Presiden Austria yang secara teoretis memiliki mandat yang bebas. Kanselir memikul jabatannya segera setelah pengangkatan dan disumpah oleh presiden. Lalu konfirmasi oleh Dewan Nasional (Majelis Rendah Parlemen Austria tidak diperlukan. Namun, sejak Dewan Nasional memiliki hak untuk mengumumkan mosi tidak percaya setiap saat, presiden harus mengambil opini terbanyak atas Dewan Nasional majority ke dalam laporan.
