GPON

Pendahuluan

Gigabit Capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) adalah teknologi node akses yang diperlukan untuk memberikan layanan multimedia (Voice,data, Video maupun content-content yang lain) bagi pelanggan perumahan maupun bisnis.

GPON merupakan teknologi berbasis FTTx, yang dapat berupa :

FTTH (Fiber to the Home)
FTTB (Fiber to the Building)
FTTZ (Fiber to the Zone)
FTTT (Fiber to the Tower)
FTTC (Fiber to the Curb)
