British Board of Film Classification
British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), sebelumnya British Board of Film Censors, adalah lembaga swadaya masyarakat yang didirikan oleh industri film pada tahun 1912 dan menangani klasifikasi dan penyensoran film nasional yang diputar di bioskop dan pemutar video (seperti program televisi, cuplikan, iklan, film informasi masyarakat/kampanye, menu, konten bonus, dan lain-lain) yang dirilis di media fisik di Britania Raya.[1][2] Lembaga ini memiliki kewajiban mengklasifikasikan video, DVD, dan beberapa permainan video sesuai Undang-Undang Rekaman Video 1984.[3]

Direktur BBFC
Pada masa James Ferman', gelar CEO di BBFC diganti dari "Sekretaris Dewan" menjadi "Direktur". Seiring diangkatnya David Austin pada tahun 2016, gelar tersebut dikembalikan ke CEO.[5] Pada saat yang sama, bingkai judul yang menampilkan sertifikat film di Britania Raya tidak lagi mencantumkan tanda tangan CEO dan hanya mencantumkan tanda tangan Presiden.
