Macross
The Super Dimension Fortress Macross (超時空要塞マクロス Chō Jikū Yōsai Makurosu) adalah serial anime klasik yang banyak menyuguhkan adegan perang antariksa, musik, dan kisah cinta antara tokoh-tokohnya. Serial Macross juga dikenal dengan judul Robotech. Serial Macross pertama kali dipopulerkan di Indonesia oleh stasiun televisi Indosiar pada pertengahan tahun 90-an.

Resensi cerita
Suatu hari di masa depan, sebuah pesawat ruang angkasa asing berukuran raksasa jatuh di pulau kecil di lautan pasifik. Manusia Bumi kemudian berusaha memperbaiki pesawat tersebut dan membaptisnya dengan nama SDF-1 Macross.
Sayangnya, ketika pesawat tersebut sudah selesai diperbaiki dan siap diluncurkan, datanglah alien Zentradi dan terjadilah peristiwa dimana pesawat SDF-1 Macross tersebut tiba-tiba secara otomatis menyerang alien Zentradi.
Karena masih bingung dan belum sepenuhnya sadar apa yang terjadi, para crew SDF-1 Macross tersebut akhirnya mengaktifkan sistem fold, dan di luar dugaan, mereka "terdampar" di ujung tata surya beserta kota dan para penduduknya.
Setelah menyelamatkan penduduk kota dan membangun koloni sementara di dalam pesawat SDF-1 Macross, Kapten Global dan anak buahnya berusaha untuk kembali ke Bumi dengan menggunakan mesin biasa. Hal ini dikarenakan sistem fold SDF-1 Macross telah rusak parah sejak terakhir diaktifkan.
Anime ini menceritakan perjalanan panjang Macross dan para krunya dalam usaha untuk pulang kembali ke planet Bumi, berikut segala konflik yang terjadi di sepanjang perjalanan tersebut.
