Cartel del Girasol

Cartel del Girasol is a criminal organization based in Las Venturas, this organization is led by Emiliano Garcia and his brother Raul Espina. This organization focuses on businesses that violate state law, such as drug trafficking, prostitution, and weapons sales. Emiliano, who was still very young at that time, was forced to manage the organization because his father was a fugitive from D.E.A. and was on the run.

History of C.D.G

Jesus Garcia and Namesio Garcia were the two men who initiated this organization. These two brothers began their criminal careers in Durango, Mexico in 1990. Starting from stealing car parts, robbing a shop, and selling drugs on a small scale. The Garcia brothers, who had the same madness for wealth, began to take bold steps, they formed their own crew to run a bigger business. Jesus and Namesio started looking for a chef to make their own drug products, and they met Hector Pozo, a man who had experience in mixing chemicals. Hector is the golden boy in the business, he is heavily relied on by Jesus and Namesio.

March, 1995. Julia Vera was pregnant Jesus child. When Jesus heard this statement, he was happy and immediately married Julia. At his wedding party, Namesio delivered a letter addressed to Jesus. While reading the letter, Jesus face changed from very cheerful to a little nervous, because the letter contained a threat to Jesus family and asked him to immediately close down his drug business. In the last five years, Jesus and Namesio have often encountered threats, terror, and even attacks on their organization. all of this was due to his business growing so rapidly that other groups saw it as a threat. One of them is from Da Vida Crew, an organization that often attacks Girasol. It peaked when Thiago Trujillo, one of Da Vida Crew's top officials, asked Jesus to pay taxes to Da Vida Crew and provide security to Jesus and his organization from interference from other groups. Jesus and Namesio, who felt that it was unreasonable and felt like they were being blackmailed, flatly rejected the offer given, and that's how the group war between Da Vida Crew and Girasol began.

Arrest Day

At the end of 2010, the drug business run by Jesus and Namesio continued to grow. They started distributing it to other countries, smuggling it by land and sea. By bribing the police so that the smuggling would run smoothly, Girasol's activities were discovered by the D.E.A (Drugs Enforcement Administration). The problems experienced by Girasol were really serious, wars with other groups and even having to deal with authorities who started monitoring their movements. Seeing such a tangled problem, Jesus asked the person he trusted most, Bernabe Hurtado, to evacuate his family to America until this problem was resolved. At the beginning of 2011, when he wanted to carry out smuggling, Oscar Ruiz, one of the Girasol crew, gave news to Jesus and Namesio that one of the officers who usually took bribes this time refused on the grounds that the new police chief had started looking for officers who took bribes from criminal organizations and he got the news. that the Da Vida Crew has been completely destroyed by the police and their next destination is Girasol. Hearing the news, Jesus thought hard about how to avoid unwanted events. Starting from stopping production, hiding drug stocks, to keeping all the assets owned. At the end of January 2011, Jesus asked all his men to strictly guard his residence. While he was contacting his wife and children in America by telephone, gunshots were heard from outside the house. Namesio, who ran towards Jesus, gave him a gun and asked him to run for his life, and would follow him later. Jesus, who saved himself first, went through the underground tunnel and waited for Namesio at the end of the tunnel. Feeling that he had waited too long, Jesus reluctantly left the tunnel and hoped that Namesio would be fine. A few days after the raid and Jesus still on the run, he reads the news that Namesio was killed that night. Jesus' face also began to be circulated in every corner of Mexico as a fugitive.

Present

In 2024, Emiliano and his younger brother Raul will continue the business started by their father. Jesus, who is still on the run, lets his two children manage the organization with the same business as before.
