Amanda Michelle Seyfried (lahir 3 Desember 1985) merupakan seorang aktris berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat, penyanyi, dan model yang memulai kariernya pada saat berumur 11 tahun dan mulai menjadi aktris saat berumur 15 tahun yang menjadi terkenal saat bermain di film utamanya seperti Mamma Mia!, Alpha Dog dan Mean Girls. Dia berkarier di dunia film sejak tahun 2000.

Amanda Seyfried lahir di Allentown, Lehigh Country, Pennsylvania pada tanggal 3 Desember 1985. Ibunya. Ann (née Sander) adalah seorang pekerja terapi, dan ayahnya Jack Seyfried adalah ahli farmasi. Amanda lulus pada tahun 2003 dari Allentown's William Allen High School. Dia memiliki seorang saudari tertua, Jennifer Seyfried yang seorang musisi di Philadelphia organ-driven rock band, Love City.
