David Chiang
David Chiang Da-wei (nama asli Chiang Wei-nien lahir 29 Juni 1947 di Shanghai, Cina) adalah aktor, sutradara, dan produser Hongkong. Chiang adalah bintang film Shaw Brothers pada 1970-an, biasanya film bergenre seni bela diri.
Biografi
Ibu Chiang, Hung Wei (nama asli: Lo Chen) dan ayah Chiang, Yen Hua (nama asli: Chiang Ko-chi) adalah bintang film Cina terkenal yang datang ke Hongkong pada akhir 1940-an waktu Perang Saudara Cina. Dia adalah adik kandung aktor Paul Chun dan kakak seibu Derek Yee. Chiang memulai karier filmnya di usia sangat muda, muncul di film hitam-putih saat dia baru berusia 4 tahun.
Pada 1966, ketika bekerja sebagai stuntman dan instruktur laga untuk Shaw Brothers Studio, dia dilihat oleh sutradara Chang Cheh, yang segera melihat potensinya dan menjadi mentornya. Chang memberinya nama David Chiang, meskipun nama aslinya adalah John.
