Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (/kəˈbeɪoʊ/; lahir 3 Maret, 1997),[1][2] lebih dikenal sebagai Camila Cabello, Kuba-Amerika, penyanyi dan penulis lagu. Sebagai bagian dari girl band Fifth Harmony, Cabello dan  bandnya merilis satu EP dan dua album studio. Kepergiannya dari grup diumumkan pada bulan desember 2016. Sebagai lead artist, Cabello telah merilis dua single yang mencapai 20 besar di US Billboard Hot 100: "I know what you did last summer" dengan Shawn Mendes dan "Bad Things" dengan Machine Gun Kelly.

Early life

Cabello lahir di Havana, Kuba. Untuk sebagian besar, dari awal dia hidup, dia dan keluarganya pindah bolak-balik antara Havana dan Mexico City, Mexico (ayahnya asli negara), sebelum pindah ke Miami, Florida pada usia 5 tahun.[3]

2012–2016: The X Factor and Fifth Harmony

Cabello mengikuti audisi untuk The X Factor di Greensboro, North Carolina.[4] Setelah eliminasi selama "bootcamp" bagian dari proses, Cabello dipanggil kembali ke panggung bersama dengan empat perempuan lain peserta untuk membentuk kelompok gadis yang nantinya akan menjadi dikenal sebagai Fifth Harmony. 2015–sekarang: Solo karir

Pada bulan November 2015, Cabello merilis duet dengan penyanyi Kanada Shawn Mendes berjudul "I know what you did last summer",[11] dia juga yang menulis lagu pertama.[12] lagu yang berada di nomor 20 di AS dan 18 di Kanada.[13] Hal ini telah disertifikasi platinum oleh Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[14] Pada tanggal 14 oktober, 2016, Cabello merilis single bersama dengan rapper Amerika Machine Gun Kelly yaitu "Bad Things",[15] yang telah menduduki nomor empat di Billboard Hot 100.[16] Cabello disertakan pada Waktu''s daftar "25  Remaja Yang Paling Berpengaruh di 2016".[17]

Pada tanggal 25 januari 2017, "Love Incredible", sebuah kolaborasi dengan DJ Norwegia yaitu Cashmere Cat bocor  di internet.[18] resmi versi dari lagu ini dirilis pada 16 februari 2017.[19] Hal ini direncanakan akan dirilis pada Cashmere Cat album mendatang, Wild Love .

Philanthropy

Pada tanggal 28 februari 2016, Cabello mengumumkan dia telah bermitra dengan Save the Children untuk desain edisi terbatas "Love Only" T-shirt untuk membantu meningkatkan kesadaran tentang isu-isu yang melibatkan gadis-gadis' akses yang sama untuk pendidikan, perawatan kesehatan dan kesempatan untuk berhasil.[20] pada bulan juni 2016, Cabello dengan produser Benny Blanco dan anggota dari organisasi seni nirlaba OMG di mana-Mana, membantu untuk membuat single amal "Power in Me".[21]
