Carl Schmitt
Carl Schmitt (Jerman: [ʃmɪt]; 11 Juli 1888 – 7 April 1985) adalah seorang ahli hukum dan ahli teori politik Jerman. Schmitt menulis secara ekstensif tentang pengelolaan kekuasaan politik efektif. Karyanya telah menjadi pengaruh besar pada teori politik berikutnya, teori hukum, filsafat kontinental, dan teologi politik.

Sebagian besar karyanya tetap berpengaruh dan kontroversial saat ini karena hubungannya dengan Nazisme, yang darinya ia dikenal sebagai "ahli hukum terbaik dari Reich Ketiga".[3]
