Al Green
Albert Leornes Greene[1] (lahir 13 April 1946), yang sering disebut sebagai The Reverend Al Green, adalah seorang penyanyi, penulis lagu dan produser rekaman Amerika, yang dikenal atas rekaman serangkaian singel hit musik soul pada awal 1970an, yang meliputi "Take Me to the River", "Tired of Being Alone", "I'm Still in Love with You", "Love and Happiness" dan lagu signature-nya, "Let's Stay Together".[2] Dicantumkan dalam Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pada 1995, Green disebut di museum tersebut sebagai "salah satu purveyor paling berhadiah dari musik soul".[2] Ia juga disebut sebagai "Penyanyi Soul Besar Terakhir".[3] Green masuk daftar 100 Artis Terbesar Sepanjang Masa Rolling Stone, meraih peringkat No. 65.[4]
