Chevrolet Cobalt SS
Chevrolet Cobalt SS adalah mobil buatan pabrik otomotif Amerika Serikat General Motors. Cobalt SS adalah mobil ekonomi compact, tersedia dalam bentuk coupe atau sedan. Cobalt SS diproduksi dari 2004 hingga 2009 dan kemudian digantikan oleh Cruze.[1][2] Sejak 1961, "Super Sport" digunakan oleh Chevy untuk menunjukkan trademarks mereka. SS dilengkapi dengan perbaikan di fitur eksterior dan interior. Tipe ini juga mendapat peningkatan pada kekuatan mesin, suspensi, dan ban yang digunakan.[3][4]

Cobalt SS memiliki tiga tipe yang berbeda. Pertama Cobalt SS (kemudian berganti nama menjadi Cobalt Sport) dilengkapi dengan 2.4 liter empat silinder. Kedua, model 2,0 liter (hanya tersedia dengan tipe coupe) dengan supercharger Eaton. Terakhir, Cobalt SS turbocharged adalah yang terbaik dari kertiga tipe. Turbocharges adalah salah satu mobil dengan penggerakan roda depan tercepat di zamannya.[5]

SS Supercharged harus dihentikan karena tidak mematuhi peraturan emisi untuk 2008.[9]
Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbocharge (2008-2010)
Chevy Cobalt SS Turbocharged mulai dijual pada kuater ke dua 2008. Chevrolet mengumumkan tipe baru ini di sema show pada 2007.[10][11][12][13] Walaupun mendapatkan ulasan yang cukup baik, produksinya akan diberhentikan hanya 2 tahun setelah produksi.[14][15]
